God was using this simple trail to remind me and my buddy, that while life is full of ups and downs, when we put our faith in Jesus, He does the heavy lifting for us! His yoke is easy and His burden is light!

God’s sovereign grace can step in at any point in a person's life and draw them to Himself! It’s not our job to estimate the probabilities of where grace should succeed. We serve a sovereign God who knows all things and there will never be a day where he is uncertain of the ones he has called to salvation.

In scripture, we see that repentance from our sins leads to reconciliation with God. Ultimately, this will be evidenced by producing good fruit, including the greatest commandment of loving the Lord our God with all our hearts and loving our neighbor as ourselves
